What’s Going on in Burlington?
Downtown Burlington is in crisis. Open drug use and dealing, rampant theft, homelessness, and unchecked mental health emergencies are playing out in full view—shocking residents, harming visitors, and driving long-standing businesses to close their doors forever.
Construction chaos and blocked streets have turned our once prideful city into a maze of detours and empty storefronts, while historic places are locked away behind fences and plywood.
Our city’s character, safety, and economy are under siege. As businesses struggle with mounting losses and local families lose loved ones to this epidemic, the city’s administrative systems do nothing meaningful to stem the tide—it’s only getting worse.
We are the Shield of Souls Assembly.
We represent the people, and we’re not waiting for permission to demand change.
Our Plan:
We are launching comprehensive FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests targeting Burlington’s government, seeking full transparency of its administrative structures and all channels of funding and resource allocation.
We will use every legal tool at the people’s disposal to expose and track exactly how money is being spent, who is making the decisions, and where accountability is lacking.
Demonstrating the massive financial losses suffered by businesses—and the cascading effects on our community—is our first step in forcing city leadership to act.
Our collective will and skill will hold Burlington’s leadership legally and publicly accountable, using advanced legal and research techniques. When excuses are exhausted, we will be prepared to file a class action lawsuit to compensate impacted businesses for their losses, whether due to public disorder, neglected safety, unnecessary bureaucratic roadblocks, or the disruption caused by endless, mismanaged city projects.
But our vision doesn’t end with Burlington. Once we’ve restored city pride and function, we will carry this movement to Barre and St. Albans—creating a model of people-powered reform and transparency across Vermont. As thousands learn to defend and demand the integrity of their towns, we’ll ignite a wave of positive change reaching far beyond our state.
We are the Assembly. We are the People.
Our mission is to hold public power to its promise—first here, then everywhere it’s needed. As we grow, our focus will expand, starting with powerful, people-led action against environmental threats like global plastic pollution.
Together, we reclaim our home.

Small towns are usually the least spoken about and the best place to start if destroying a nation. Imagine stories like this where rehabilitation centers (this one - Valley Vista - VT) staff are sexually preying on the homeless offering them meth for sex.
Not only do we rarely hear important headlines like this from towns you’ve never heard of, but these towns hold the obvious template of blatantly obvious conspiratorial corruption that’s being utilized all over the United States and the world. Just remember, conspiracies are only theory until they’re at your doorstep stealing your car or kidnapping your child.
Picture having something happen to you so terrible that you can’t even tell anybody because no one would believe you. The more delusional and numb society gets the less we can all hear and feel these calls for help. Utilize the pressure of bills increasing, your anger and frustration for inflation to fuel your mind expansion to become open to the truth of what we’ve all been experiencing since birth.
Soon this will all be irreversible. This cannot be fixed without your help and attention. I know it’s hard but do your best not to judge the few of us out here risking ourselves attempting to show you information that’s basically unattainable in this new era of censorship.
